We had a picnic in the park and the kids loved playing in the sand and going down the tree slide. We had a fun play date, thanks Shauna and Holly for the invite.Later that night the boys went up to Bear lake to do some remodeling and go for a ride on their motorbikes, while us girls stayed and did hair and watched movies. Saturday my mom bought a sprinkler toy for the kids to run through, it was pretty fun watching them wimp out once they got close to the water.

Later that night we did a roast over the fire and had some "smores" which I love!

The kids loved playing with their cousins and Taige enjoyed watching the fire.

Then Sunday Father's Day we went back to my mom's and had a BBQ, the kids got to say goodbye to their cousins and enjoy in some ice cream.

It was a busy weekend but, it was fun to celebrate Father's and thank them for all they do for us.
My dad has always been one of my biggest Hero's. He is a very hard worker and a great Handy Man. He is always filled with hugs for his kids and of course for his grand kids. He has always had a strong Testimony of the church and showed it through his Examples. I remember when I was 17, the bishop asked me to give a talk in Sacrament about following the Prophet. My dad was in the bishopric at that time so he might have had a role in this... but, it was about the time that Pres. Hinkley came out with 1 set of earrings are plenty to have, and at the time I had 3 piercings in one ear and 2 in the other. I was having a hard time preparing my talk and went and asked my dad for some advice, he asked me if I was following the prophet day to day and I told him, "yea I think so" he told me, "then why do you still have all your earrings in?"After that conversation I took my earrings out and my talk went really well. Since then I still haven't put my earrings back in. I have always had a strong relationship with my dad and I really do look up to him. Thanks dad for all you do for me and my family, We love you!

Last but NOT least....

My HUBBY Nate! He is such an amazing father and a great husband. He is always putting his family first. Nate is such a hard worker

He has worked day and night trying to get our yard done. And he has done a great job. He has been very supportive with my MS and always steps in when he knows I need a break. And he has been awesome giving me my shots since I am a wimp and can't do it myself. He loves being a DAD and loves teaching our kids new things.
Nate has been my rock for the last 6 years, I don't know what I would do without him. Thanks babe for always being there for me and our kids. We Love you and we think that you are the BEST! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
