{A day at the PARK}

Our first day to the park this Spring! The kids had enough of being cooped up inside and I wasn't to thrilled of the thought of them playing in our DIRT yard!

The Race is on!

Kyson, Taige and Keelie all went down the BIG slide, I was little nervous Taige wanted to climb the stairs up all by herself, and she made it to the top without tumbling down! I guess my BABY isn't such a BABY anymore!

I think she felt like she had accomplished something pretty big! She loved IT!

Trudy and I wanted to have some FUN too. Trudy, Taige, and Gavyn----Me and Tay-Tay!

We had a great time at the park, the kids loved being outside and it was nice letting them run all of their energy out. Thanks Trudy, Keelie and Gavyn for the invite!

{We made the BEST of it}

Well instead of Kauai we did California. We went to St.George the first 2 nights and did Zions which we FROZE in the river, thanks Mckall! Then we headed to Palm Springs to see my grandparents new vacation home. When we go there they greeted us with Lays and Hawaiian music since they felt awful about our situation. So thanks grandma and grandpa for putting a little bit of Hawaii in our trip and for the smiles. We drove to L.A for Universal Studios which was pretty fun, I haven't been since i was like 10 so it was fun to experience it again with my hubby. Wednesday we spent driving to San Diego, we went to the beach first but, it wasn't to warm so we did the boardwalk and got our souvenirs and Cami and I decided to be rebels and do the Henna tattoos. Thursday we spent at Sea World which I still LOVE. I'm really into the exatic animals. I would love to raise and tame a bear if I could! Nate really enjoyed Sea World too. Friday we spent the day at the beach. Werented body boards, a surf board, and wet suits, it was pretty fun. We made the BEST out of our situation and are now planning another trip in January to Hawaii or Costa Rica so hopefully it pulls threw so I don't have anther broken heart!

{Bankruptcy WHAT?!}

Today is the day Nate and I are supposed to be driving to St. George so we can catch our Plane flight out of Las Vegas to HAWAII. Well, funny story yet alittle ok maybe not ALITTLE but, MAJOR UPSETTING, Sunday night Nate was watching the news and he heard something about an airport in Hawaii claiming bankruptcy so he called my brother in law Ryan at 10:30 and asked if he knew what airlines we were on? Ryan said, " hey i think we are fine I don't think that is our flight". So I get s phone call Tuesday from my dad, telling me about Nate's call to Ryan the the other night and I told my dad I did not believe him cause Nate never told me that Info. so my dad says, " ask Nate if I am lieing and call me back." So I call Nate ask him, and sure enough he did call Ryan and told him about the bankruptcy situation. I then call my dad back and apologize for not believing him, he goes on to tell me that we can't go anymore, so I sat there totally bummed freaking out, then he continued to tell me that Justi told him she hated him and that he sucked, so I added well i guess that brings me up on the ladder from her and my amusing father goes, "yea, she said that after i told her April FOOLS"! My father is SO funny! Well, later that night him and my mom show up at my house and my dad walks in and says, " So my April Fools backfired on me". It was true about the airport Aloha did claim bankruptcy so, mom and dad had been on the phone ALL night trying to figure out another way around that flight, so they get it all worked out, paying an extra $1400 to move our flight to a different airport. So all is good RIGHT? No, last night I was in at the salon and Nate calls me, He tells me that the flight that my parents just got arranged 2 nights ago had just claimed bankruptcy also. So after my parents fought with the airlines for 4-5 hours we will be lucky to see a penny of our money returned and Kauai will be missing the Crowther family! Let's just say it wasn't a FUN night last night I think me and my sisters are all teared OUT! I'm just bummed cause I spent ALL day yesterday preparing and tweeking the last minute things so that I was ready for the big day TODAY! We have been planning this trip for a year now, I guess there is a reason all of this is happening but, like my mom said, "maybe we're not supposed to go for a reason but, I sure hope the island blows up or something so we knew the REASON". Our bags are packed my kids are siked to go to aunt Jamie's house, as of 10:45 last night my parents were trying to find a cruise out of Cali. to go on, so hopefully I'll have a positive note in a few days!

So there are always Likes and Dislikes about being in a new home some of my Likes are..
I love our CORNER Jetted TUB!
I love our Fireplace to keep us warm!
and I really love my kitchen!
Some of my dislikes contain the following....
Yes, you guessed it, I hate putting in the YARD! First Nate has to level it all out then bring in dirt to cover ALL the rocks, then level it again, we then have to do the sprinkler system, he has to put in our fence, and then we need to decide where to put the garden beds, sandbox, and flower beds so, if any one has good ideas fill me in...
But the likes about doing the yard...
The kids Love to be outside helping and watching the action! So I guess that helps the process along.

{First Haircut}

Taige is now 16 months and is getting her very first haircut. Sad to say she takes after her mommy who has no hair either.

She loved every minute of it. She sat as still as can be...

I kinda like having a girlie girl daughter who likes to get her hair done.
