Snowmobling...

So, I went snowmobling last weekend with Nate, his two cousins Cortney and Brandon and then our friends Jake and Shae came. I hadn't been for almost 3 years. (WOW I know.)I have the fondest memories with my dad snowmobling I used to go with him almost everyother weekend before I was married. I used to look forward to the falling of the snow, knowing snowmobling would be the picture. But, now that I am a mom of 2, it somehow means I have to stay back while the boys go and have fun. Nate is the one who is waiting for the snow to fall in July so he can go and play in the snow with his in-laws. Which I am grateful that Nate is making fun memories with my dad, brother, and brother in law. My grandpa Bowen got my dad into the hobby while dating my mom and it brought the two of them closer, enjoying a hobby they both loved. Now my dad has done the same thing to Ryan(brother-in-law) and Nate and boy, do they have some crazy stories when they get home. All of us girls are always crossing our fingers when they call to tell us their coming home that it wasn't our husband who wrecked or machine that broke down. I forgot how much I liked snowmobling going this past weekend-I remember I wrecked one of my dad's sleds going down a hill of trees and just decided to plow right into one. I pulled up to where everyone was waiting for me not knowing what I had done, and my dad got off his sled came up to me and gave me a hug, obvously he saw the dent on the side of my machine, and asked if I was okay, I smiled and said yeah and told him I was sorry for the dent, he laughed and said, "no big deal, it can always be fixed." he always made sure I was having a good time and didn't want to ruin the fun that I was having. I guess now I am just going to start getting a babysitter so I can once again join in the fun of Snowmobling.

I loved watching the boys try to out do eachother, Nate got stuck the most and Brandon fell off his machine the most.

Me and Shae watching the boys play- Funny story there was this steep side hill that the boys tried to out do eachother on, Nate first went on the hill and then Cortney and then Jake followed well, Jake wanted to have the high mark on the hill so he got the courage and went for it, he got up there went to turn, hit a track from the other sleds, jumped off and let the sled roll to the ground. It was a crack up I was so mad I didn't get to my camera in time but, it was priceless.

This is Nate, the hill was extremely steep, It scared me at first-now I know what he does when I'm not around!

Thanks Babe for letting me come spend the day with you! I had a lot of fun!
