Taige and her BeLLy

Taige found her belly the other night. She wasn't wearing a onsie so she was ALL sorts of ExCiTeD to see what was under her shirt. I filmed her sideways and it won't rotate so bear with us. Go down and click pause on my music so you can hear her. It is pretty funny!

VaLeNtInEs TAG.....

Being Valentine's and all I thought this was a good idea to look back on mine and Nate's relationship.

How long have you been together? We have been married for 4 years

How long did you date? Well, it was kinda a rOcKy RoAd at first. We started talking on the phone while I was in Connecticut being a nanny, we talked every single day for two months and had just seen pictures of eachother, so when I got home we finally met in person, but I thought it was just a hang out and just be friends kind of a thing, I was waiting for my Missionary at the time so I didn't want anything serious, Nate had other things on his mind, and was patient with me for almost a year and 1/2. I'm so thankful he saw the whole picture while I was trying to figure everything out.

How old is he? He will be turning 25 in 3 weeks

Who eats more? Depends-He eats more food, but I eat more goodies

Who said I LOVE YOU first? Nate texted me when I was still in CT. that he Loved me which I thought was wierd at first, since we had never met. But, he knew the whole time I guess that I was meant to be his wife.

Who is taller? Nate

Who sings better? I think we are about evens- we both like to sing.

Who is smarter? Nate is smarter with the books but I am realistically

Who does the laundry? I would be surprised if Nate knew how to turn a washer on

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do

Who pays the bills? Nate makes the dough and I spend it, so I do-thanks babe!

Who mows the lawn? We don't have a lawn yet, but, mostly Nate

Who cooks dinner? I do, but he is good to do Saturday or Sunday breakfast

Who drives when you are together? Mostly Nate, I have to do Rock, Paper, Scissors with him if I want to drive.

Who is more Stubborn? Unfortunatly I have to say me. Nate is the most
carefree person I know, he is very laid back, which is good and bad at times.

Who kissed who first? I say Nate kissed me, but Nate says I kissed him. He pretty much tricked me into it-so I'll say it was both

Who Proposed? Nate did, and everyone who knows Nate knows that he is pretty shy, so for him to ask me at the Box Elder fairgrounds RODEO in front of everyone was pretty NEAT. He lied to me telling me had to use the bathroom, instead he was off to the middle of the dirt and all of a sudden I heard my name from the rodeo clown asking me to stand up then he started reading a poem that Nate had wrote and at the end of the poem it asked me to marry him, I was shocked that Nate had the guts to propose in front of so many people. He had it all planned out, he told my whole family to come and where to sit without me even knowing that they were there. It was pretty awesome cause my parents were able to video Nate proposing to me and now it is on our wedding video for some great memories.

Who is more sensitive? For sure me! The only time that I have seen Nate shed a tear is when our nephew died a couple of years ago.

Who wears the pants in the family? I would say I'm in one leg and he is in the other. We can compromise pretty good. I'm the loud one and can talk to who ever and he is more quiet and laid back.

I just want to thank Nate for all that he does for me. You are a great father, husband, friend and example to me and our kids. Thanks for all you do for our family we LOVE you lots!

10 Years ago today...
I was a 9th grade officer and loved it. I was with my two cousins Kyle and Gavin and it seemed like we always were getting into trouble. I remember we were having a Stomp after school one day and Gavin and I didn't want to go to Science, so we decided to sluff and go help the DJ set his equiepment up well the principal caught us, and sent us to his office, We were both scared to death and he threatened us that we weren't going to be able to run for Fremont sophmore office, which wasn't a big deal for me, but was for Gav. so we had to stay after school for 3 nights and clean all of Wahquist. Yea it sucked, but we still laugh about it today, how we thought we were invinsible to the world and could do what ever we wanted. I also had my FIRST KISS in the 9th grade with Jake Muir- thanks to Shauna Reed.

I Enjoy:
I enjoy being with my family. I have a very active family, My grandpa used to always Quote, "A family that plays together- stays together" now, my dad is quoting that quote and I love it. Whether it is hanging out in Bear Lake, four wheeling-boating- jeeping-snowmobling-playing 31 I enjoy being with the fam. I also enjoy doing hair, ( it relaxes me) and making crafts.

What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire?
WOW, there's alot I would do...
First I would pay Tithing
then pay off our debt
I would also help family out with there debt
build my final home just the way I want it
build my mom a big cabin in Bear Lake, right by ours of course
buy a house boat in Lake Powell
buy a new Ski Centurion boat so that I can Salom ski when ever I wanted.
put some away for my kids colloge/missionary funds
invest
save the rest for a rainy day.

3 of my bad habits:
- I am a very bad procrastinator. I am always waiting for the last minute on every thing-especially when it comes to my Doc. appointments I wait until the day I really need to be seen to call and then they have to try and fit me in somewhere. Oops
- I am supposed to give my self a shot once a week for my MS, I hate doing it so, I tend to forget to give it sometimes- when it's convient for me. OopS!
- I have to sit in my sink to get ready. I have been doing it since Jr. High and I can't stop. At first it sortof made Nate mad cause he was afraid I was going to ruin the sink trim by putting weight on it, but know he knows that there's nothing he can do about it.

5 places I have lived:
Harrisville, UT
Darwin, CT.
Logan, UT
Tremonton, UT
Brigham City, UT

5 Jobs that I have had:
bagger at Wangsgards
recieptionist at Heads Together ( which I absolutly loved!)
Nanny in Conneticut
Hair Stylists at Dollar Cuts
Hair Stylists at No Limits Studio
Full time mom and wife ( think this one should count!)

5 things people don't know about me:
I am a feet fanatic- I love feet! I got the cutest feet award at girls camp once and I was so proud! I don't mind doing pedicures, but I hate doing manicures.

I am very sensitive- it's more now that I am a mom, but I cry over the littlest things. Just like EHM I cried through the the whole episode, Nate just laughs at me. I think alot of it is cause I know how fragile life really is- Cancer runs like a marathon in my family and I don't want to forget the important things.

We are selling our home, we have it up For Sale

I have to sleep the farthest away from the door.
I panic at night about someone braking in, so Nate always as to sleep closest to the door, so he's the one to fight them off. I also worry about my kids so I check to make sure their windows are locked (Elizabeth Smart) every night and i have to leave their doors open so I can hear them breath or move around.

I hate going to the movies. I am always afraid of getting bugs from the person who sat in the seat before me. My mom makes fun of me cause when i do go which isn't very often I have to have a hoodie on what ever i am wearing so that I can put it between my head and the seat. Also, the people behind me bug me when they chomp on their popcorn it's like they forget their manners cause it's dark and noone can see them. Yeah it bugs!

Tag your It.... Megan-Jessi-Jenni

Nate and I like watching Extreme Home Makeover I usaully cry here and there through out the show but, last nights episode really touched me, his story had me crying the whole time. He was such an honorable man, very humbled and grateful. I believe Daniel to be the epitome of what a Real man, father and Hero is. His sacrifices serving our country and his trials and tribulations are what made him the man he is today. I am so glad that ABC stepped in to sacrifice one week of their time to help a Marine who has sacrificed his life for ALL of US! He is well deserving of this new beautiful home. I salute you Daniel for not only the sacrafices you've made and everything you have been through, but also for the man you are! Thank You !
